Pretending: Is it worth it?

“Pretending to be happy is not another way of making yourself happier.”

What about it? Those, labeled people they called “EMO”. What about them? First of all ‘emo’ is a ridiculous concept devised to label ppl. It’s not cuz you’re unhappy that you’re emo. If you feel down, tell people, everyone feels down at one point, you’re not abnormal.By not telling anyone, isn’t it as though you’re trying to uphold this pretense of happiness? It’s by telling people about our unhappiness that we can help ourselves get better. If people have a hard time understanding, then you try harder. Being human makes it that we all connect on one level, eventually. It takes time. But don’t let yourself suffer alone. Life sucks, but it can also suck less, depending on what you make of it.

We all have our certain problems. But, don’t let ‘em rule your life, babe. You are still living & you’re very lucky. Cherish your life.Think of any solution that would make any problems be easy. I’m sure there is always one.

Pretending isn’t bad. In fact, it can also help. But, only little. JUST PLEASE BE TRUE TO YOURSELF. DON’T FOOL YOURSELF. BE HONEST. In that way, you could lessen those tears that falls out of your pretty eyes.

“Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.” — Og Mandino

Its up to you on how you find contentment and happiness within yourself. Life is what you make it- you allow it to suck. What is it that you like doing? I know for me when I take walks or hangout with my family or friends, I’m more happy. Try thinking back to when you were the most happy and try recreate it.
