Pretending: Is it worth it?

“Pretending to be happy is not another way of making yourself happier.”

What about it? Those, labeled people they called “EMO”. What about them? First of all ‘emo’ is a ridiculous concept devised to label ppl. It’s not cuz you’re unhappy that you’re emo. If you feel down, tell people, everyone feels down at one point, you’re not abnormal.By not telling anyone, isn’t it as though you’re trying to uphold this pretense of happiness? It’s by telling people about our unhappiness that we can help ourselves get better. If people have a hard time understanding, then you try harder. Being human makes it that we all connect on one level, eventually. It takes time. But don’t let yourself suffer alone. Life sucks, but it can also suck less, depending on what you make of it.

We all have our certain problems. But, don’t let ‘em rule your life, babe. You are still living & you’re very lucky. Cherish your life.Think of any solution that would make any problems be easy. I’m sure there is always one.

Pretending isn’t bad. In fact, it can also help. But, only little. JUST PLEASE BE TRUE TO YOURSELF. DON’T FOOL YOURSELF. BE HONEST. In that way, you could lessen those tears that falls out of your pretty eyes.

“Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.” — Og Mandino

Its up to you on how you find contentment and happiness within yourself. Life is what you make it- you allow it to suck. What is it that you like doing? I know for me when I take walks or hangout with my family or friends, I’m more happy. Try thinking back to when you were the most happy and try recreate it.

Why can't you be contented with what you have?

  • Poverty \ˈpä-vər-tē\ noun, often attributive —— Often synonymous to scarcity and sometimes, dearth.[1] Is the state of one who lacks a usual or socially acceptable amount of money or material possessions.[2] Debility due to malnutrition.[3]   lack of fertility.[4]
  • Contentment \kən-ˈtent-mənt\ noun —— The quality or state of being contented.[1] Sometimes, realistically defined as “enjoyment of whatever he/she have”.[2]
We are living in a material world where our money, status, possessions etc will determine our value in the society. When we look at the world, there is enough food for all of us to eat. But the thing is that some people hoarding food grains and keep it for themselves for the coming days. Rich people amass property and keep it for themselves. Not allowing others who are in need to cultivate it. That is why some people enjoy wealth, health and possession on the other side some are starving. Some people have many facilities and others has not.

  1. Why desire for an iPad, iPod, Mac, etc., when others don’t have anything to eat?
  2. Why desire for super expensive clothes when others don’t have any clothes to wear?
  3. Why desire for luxurious cars, jets, and airplanes when others walks miles and miles just to reach their destination?
Wishing those things is not too bad. Being contented with life is a tentatively hard thing to achieve. Many people tend to feel discontented because of their lifestyle or because of things they can’t achieve. Many people aim for the highest peak in their lives, they want to be rich, they want to be successful, they want to have many things in life.

Have you ever wonder why those people who are poor or unfortunate are able to feel contented with their lives? It’s because they are happy with what they have and they always try to make the best out of everything they had. Most people are living their lives aimlessly, they takes things for granted, they are clueless about people out there and their misfortunes that are happening to them. Many of us probably ain’t sure of what we want, that is why we cannot be contented with what we have.

We should appreciate things we have now or else we won’t be able to appreciate anything. Being contented is one of the most valuable lesson in life, as we learn on how to make our life filled with infinite happiness. If humans can be of a little simplicity, everyone will be contented about things in life. However, some people in life feels unhappy and discontented with their life, because they have many dissatisfaction about things in their lives.

Twinkle Dwivedi – The Girl Who Cries Blood

See that pretty girl above? She is Twinkle Dwivedi. Twinkle spontaneously bleeds from her eyes as well as her head, hands and other body parts — though there is no visible source or injury to explain it. Some say a bad omen has been cast, others think she is possessed, and yet others think it could be self-inflicted. Hoping for a breakthrough, Twinkle and her mother put their faith in a top American blood specialist who is flying to India to investigate her extraordinary case.

For the last three years, doctors have been trying to figure out what makes Twinkle Dwivedi‘s body ooze blood through her eyes, feet and even her head, but she remains a medical mystery.
When Twinkle’s case first appeared in the international media, many hurried to call her a fake, but after countless tests and procedures, including blood transfusions, doctors are still baffled by her strange bleeding. A group of medical specialists, led by dr. George Buchanan, recently traveled to North India to investigate the 14-year-old Twinkle, but all they have been able to say was that “she really suffers from a condition we have never seen before.”

The young teen remembers her disorder first appeared when she was just 11, and her classmates started mocking her and calling her disgusting. Although her bleeding didn’t hurt at all, she felt scared and alone, because no one would come near her. At first she would cry when she saw her clothes soaked with blood, but now she just keeps quiet, and prays she will eventually get better.

Despite her parents efforts, who took her to see the best doctors, Twinkle Dwivedi still bleeds from her eyes and pores, up to 14 times a day.
